A fabulous pair of antique Victorian chandelier earrings consisting of polished, natural coral spheres and droppers which have a lovely smooth surface, salmon-pink colouring and subtle patterning.
Coral is made naturally in the depths of the ocean by tiny marine invertebrate known as polyp. They were believed to bring peace and protection, exhibiting fiery shades of pink, orange and red, making them a colourful alternative to other ocean treasures such as pearls.
They’re an eye-catching pair, in excellent condition and the stones are held by an 18ct gold framework with screw-back fittings at the top.
We recommend you insure for £2,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
